The MEMSA Mission
The purpose of this Association shall be to advance practical standards of applied electricity and maintenance within the mining industry; and to promote safe practices for protection of operating personnel and equipment.

The
Sixty Fourth Electrical Safety &
Technical Symposium Last September, Was a Great Success. MEMSA 64th annual meeting and symposium was highlighted by a great address by Steve Fiscor, Vice President and Editor-in-Chief E&MJ and Coal Age--Mining Media Inc
2010 will be the Sixty Fifth meeting of The Mining Electrical Maintenance and Safety Association, MEMSA, dating back to the start of our predecessor organization, Open Pit Mining Association which was founded in 1945. Thanks to many hard working volunteers, miners, and sponsor venders. Thanks for the individuals who founded this wonderful organization is still going after all the years.
MEMSA invites all those interested in the mining electrical field to join
with fellow miners at the annual 2010 meeting, safety and technical symposium to be
held September 8,9,10 in Clearwater at the Sheraton Sand Key. “MEMSA is Networking and Sharing Knowledge"
